Over the weekend, I got to celebrate the Hubby’s Birthday and I decided to take him out on a lunch date after church service, which I felt was the best way to mark this special day. So we decided to try out this really nice and cosy cafe we’ve always had our eyes on but never really had the chance to check out. This was the perfect opportunity to do just that.
On today’s blog post, I’ll be sharing our experience at Woodhouse Cafe and I promise, this will be a very short read…
Just as their name describes, the ambience of this place really represents the name perfectly well. From the outdoor sitting area (which unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of) to the indoor area, the beautiful brown wooden counter and floor were just pleasing to behold.
I loved how they used old and modern design to create something beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
Even though the space isn’t as big as your regular eatery, I love the fact that they were able to organize the seating arrangement so it can work for anyone; if you wanted to have a family time out or a date with the special one or even a business meeting, you could find the perfect place to seat (outdoor or indoor)
RECENT BLOG POST: How To Stay Focused
The customer service here wasn’t that terrible but it could have been better. After ordering what we would eat, we waited for quite a while before the meal got to us. I started wishing that I turned on my timer to see exactly how long it takes to wait but unfortunately, I didn’t.
One thing I found weird was that, while we were rounding up with our meal, the waiter came to clear the place but I was surprised because I was literally still eating my chicken and in my mind I was wondering why she didn’t wait until we were fully done. It felt really uncomfortable and awkward.
FOOD & PRICE
Honestly, the prices on their menu were a bit pricey but we still managed to keep our order under N5,000.
So, here’s what we had;
Chicken and Cheese Sandwich (2 Pieces)…….N1,500
French fries………………………………………………N 500
Chicken Wings (5 Pieces)……………………………N 2,000
Chivita Pack Juice……………………………………..N1,000
TOTAL BILL———————————–N 5,000
