Hey lovelies, 2018 has come to an end and you never know how far you’ve come until you look back on all the struggles you’ve overcome and the victories you’ve had. Well, for one, I’m super excited to be ending this year on a good note. As the year rounds out, I am starting a new tradition of doing a Recap of what the year has been so far.
♦ MY LIFE
Speaking of life, this year I’ve experienced a lot of personal growth beyond what I could have imagined. There were so many things I personally didn’t think I’d be able to achieve, but 2018 has been totally different and I’ve pushed myself beyond my fears and self-doubt. There are still some things I’m hoping I’d improve on in the coming year, but overall I’m really happy for all the growth so far.
This year was also the year I celebrated my one year in marriage and I shared my experience here. If you haven’t seen that post yet, you should do so.
♦ THE BLOG
20th June 2018 will always be a remarkable day for me because that was the day I started blogging and it’s been an amazing journey so far. I’ve met a lot of amazing people because of my blog and I also joined the EverythingNaArt tribe which has helped me have a sense of direction for my brand and that was one of the best decisions I made.
As a newbie blogger, I’m still trying to learn the ropes and I’ve been learning a lot about actually creating good and valuable content. One of my biggest obstacles so far would be my laptop crashing, because it has made things really difficult for me and I have to do all my work on my phone. Hopefully, in 2019 I’ll be able to sort that issue out.
My hope for the blog next year is to have some collaborations with other bloggers and brands. So, let’s see how that goes
♦ MY ILLUSTRATIONS
So if you don’t know that I’m an illustrator that’s too bad!!! This year I decided to take my illustrations really serious and I’ve been teaching myself as I go on and it’s been amazing. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback which has only made me want to do more. I can’t wait for what the future holds because I want to share this journey with you guys. You can check here for some of my work so far.
PS: I do all my illustration using my phone in case you were wondering.
At this point, I just want to say a big thank you to every one of you that stuck with me, read my posts, shared, left comments, encouraged me in one way or another etc. We’ve come so far and I’m glad you’re still here with me, I love you all, thank you so much!
I’m excited for 2019 because this time I feel things will be different and I can’t wait to continually share my journey with you guys.
